The Board of Grievances is an independent and neutral body of the Saudi Arabian Government. It was established in December 2011 as an initiative to facilitate the public's access to information and justice, as well as an effective and efficient means of grievance handling. The Board of Grievances is governed by the Saudi Arabian Constitution, which guarantees the rights of the individual, and is responsible for the protection of the rights of all the individuals. The Board of Grievances has the power to perform its duties independently and freely, without any influence from any party, organization, government or other entity.
The mission of the Board of Grievances is to maintain the integrity of the laws and the principles of justice, and to guarantee the rights of the individuals, both civil and criminal, in accordance with the law and the principles of justice.
